Laurel Inn
Laurel Air is an inn.
We are thankful to our guests Min and David for visiting and so kindly reflecting on their experiences here…
I stayed at Laurel Inn in Brooklyn, New York, for a week. Though it’s called an inn, it feels more like a small, quiet hotel. It’s run by my friend Laurel Schwulst. Breakfast is provided each morning. There’s a park nearby—perfect for running in the morning—with a distant view of Wall Street. Who knows. Laurel might be waiting for you like a stone. If you want to spend a perfect week in Brooklyn, I strongly recommend staying here. —Min Guhong
I was a guest at Laurel Inn in St. Louis, Missouri. It’s within walking distance of Forest Park, cafes, and Washington University. The balcony overlooks a quiet courtyard, occasionally visited by hummingbirds. Breakfast was grilled salmon with asparagus and rice. Simple, perfect. There were two clocks next to each other in the room, both showing the same time, as if two worlds had aligned for a moment. The complimentary tea service was thoughtful, as was the wind down yoga session. A small inn with big feelings. I hope to return. —David Kim
